About the RRFC

The Richmond Rugby Football Club plays out of beautiful Richmond, British Columbia and our home fields are located at King George Park.

King George Park is located on Cambie just East of No. 5 Road in North-East Richmond. Our changing room facilities are located on-site, and men's home games feature a club run concession and kit sales.

Our post match socials are located at Sportstown Tavern, 4991 No. 5 Road, a stone's throw away from the playing fields. Richmond also works in close concert with the City of Richmond and the East Richmond Community and have hosted many socials and events at the East Richmond Community Hall which overlooks the playing fields.

The club has a great relationship with the city and the community, participating in many volunteer events and charitable foundation, (Movember, Ride To Conquer Cancer, BC Lung Association, Jimmy Ng Foundation, East Richmond Community Events). Many of our members work and live in the community and also participate in coaching at many of the area high schools.

We have a variety of junior teams (The Junior Dragons) that run in the fall (U-17 & U-19 Boys, U-18 Girls) and spring (U-14 & U-16 Boys) as well as a 'mini-rugby' program that runs from September to March.

The RRFC boasts 3 senior mens teams that play in the Province Wide 1 & 2 division and the BC 3rd division. Practices for the mens team is Tuesday/Thursday @ 7:00pm at King George Park.

Throughout the year, the club has many different social functions such as Pub Golf, The Annual RRFC Back To School Fundraiser, RRFC Hallowe'en Party, RRFC Dodgeball Tournament, and the RRFC Car Rally - just to name a few.
