The RRFC's U-17 team wrapped up their season on Sunday at King George Park with a victory over the Abbotsford RFC. The final score was 20 - 5, and with the win, the juniors finished fifth in the Mainland league.

Congratulations to all of the players and to coaches Al Smith, Ryan Shams, Jagjot Dhaliwal, Jordan Howlett and Kevin Nielsen on a succesful season.

The jamboree is on!  We are at UBC Wolfson Field (behind the big olympic hockey stadium) Sunday, Dec. 5th.  There is roadway (pay) parking and there should be a concession once again.

We start at 10:00 and have 3 games back to back (as usual).

Of course, the mini-rugby schedule has changed yet again.  There will be no jamboree this weekend.  However, we will have a practice session this Sunday (Rain or Shine) 10am King George Park.  The UBC jamboree has been moved (again) to Dec 5th.  Also, mark your calendars for the RRFC Mini-Rugby Christmas Party - Sunday Dec 12th at 11:00am (Red Mirchi Restaurant -  4131 No 5 Road @ Cambie).  So the revised schedule ...

Richmond U-17 players Harjun Gill (St. George's) and Austin Matilda (Hugh McRoberts) have been invited to attend the BC Youth 7's tryouts later this year. The club would like to congratulate them on their hard work paying off, and wish them the best of luck in being selected to the reperesentative team.
