As the title suggests, the fields are closed due to the recent weather we've had. So that means that tonight practice is once again canceled.

We are looking into running a session tomorrow night at the Richmond Olympic Oval from 6-8, but it is unconfirmed as of this time. We will keep everyone updated on here as well as on twitter and facebook

RRFC Director of Rugby, Mike Shellard, has announced that practices for the 2012 season will begin on January the 17th at King George Park (weather permitting). The season begins February 4th, so club members and players should make every effort to make it to these practices to help out and get ready for what is surely to be a big season.

A message to our juniors from the RRFC:

We have a couple of fundraising opportunities for the rugby club which will help the financial bottom line of the club, but at the same time be beneficial to those who are taking part in the fundraising

Yes it's that time again. On Friday Dec 9th at 6:00pm sharp be ready to wear your most awful christmas sweater imaginable. Dinner is $25 and includes Roast Beef with fixings and Salad or Chicken substitute with prior notice.

Needed: Place To Stay

Newest RRFC Member Vaughn (from NZ) and his girlfriend, need some basic accomodation for the next week or so, while they wait for a place to move into in December. They will pay for the time, they just need a roof for a little bit. If you could host these two for a small amount of time that would be great. Or if you have a spare room for rent or know of anyone renting a room, please let us know so that we can help this newly arrived PROP in settling into the country.
