RRFC 7's Practice Begins!

Thursdays 7pm at South Arm Park we are going to be starting up RRFC 7s practices. The sessions will be run by our resident 7s expert Linc Bowman who has a wealth of knowledge in the sport. The sessions will be part fitness, part skills where we work on defensive systems and plans of attack.

All ages are welcome too so please pass this on to anyone you think may be interested. If we get enough young guys we can usually throw together a U19 team that would travel with us as well.

See you all this Thursday, if you have any questions, contact me (Alex) through email or facebook.

RRFC 2012 Awards Banquet

The year end Banquet for the Richmond Rugby Club will be held at the Best Western Abercorn Inn (right across the street from Costco). Anyone who would like to attend should contact Lance Davison (604-762-0666) for tickets which are $40.

See you all there!

Training Canceled This Week

Training is canceled this week! Take the time to rest up or hit the gym or whatever it is that you do when you aren't playing rugby.

We'll get back at it next Tuesday in preparation for our trip to Cowichan on April 14th. Spread the word!

RRFC 2012 Summer kit now available!

Hey everyone, we're now taking orders for Training/Warmup shirts and Vests/Singlets! You can make an order by paying Alex Brown either in person or via the kit page. Training Shirts are $40 and Vests are $35 - both items include the club logo and 'RICHMOND RUGBY' on the back.

This is a big step for us in terms of getting more kit coming into the club, so lets get some orders in and make this work!

Congratulations Harjun Gill!

All of the Richmond Rugby Football Club's executives, coaches, players and supporters congratulate Harjun Gill for his selection to Team Canada Under 17! The Club wishes him well on the upcoming tour. Below is Harjun's donation page:

Heroes Go Mud Bowling, Can't Get A Strike

On a day of much rejoicing, and a historic sweep by the 1XV & 2XV of the vaunted Velox Valhallians of Victoria, there was another match taking place. In the muddy waters of the Heroes Coliseum (Cambie 3) the boys in red and black fought nearly to the death, taking on Burnaby Lake's third division team. Richmond had already lost a pair of games to Burnaby's fourth division team, so this was to be the Heroes toughest test of 2012.
